Forgotten Voices of the Holocaust By Lyn Smith.
That’s a book people should definitely go through. There are information’s from mostly Jewish survivors, who have had they families murdered, needed to hide, live in ghettos or in a concentration camps.

Information in this book show readers that it started already in 1933 to times after war, showing how Jewish people could’t really come back to their countries because they weren’t welcomed even though the war was finished. Many of them moved to Palestine, Uk or South of America.
At thirst Jewish people started to be treated badly, it was common to be rude to a jewish person at school, on the streets. Then they couldn’t sell their products, no one wanted to buy it from them. Many have seen what’s the situation, and their packed their bags and moved. They saw that something is coming, and its better to move to a safe place now.
Even though some weren’t really practicing Judaism, They were born in Germany and they felt German, It didn’t matter they were Jews. Till now I can’t really understand why they have chosen Jewish people to kill.
Jews were surprised how was that even possible that German people agreed on this, how that well-mannered people, and intelligent could let that happen.
In Poland there were many Polish Jews living, especially in Kazimierz in Kraków where I live. That was their home, and Nazis put them in a Ghetto, were many people were inhabiting tiny rooms. There was not enough food, medicine. Only few could get outside to work in factories. Nazis told Polish people that they are sick, and they need to be in quarantine, in a ghetto, closed from the others. Lies, Lies and Lies.
There is many information told in a book, by different people. That’s why it’s even more interesting to get to know a similar situation from a different point of view.
Concentrations camp where Jews were travelling in animal carriages squeezed for days, hours, without food and water, dying already in there from exhaustion. Peeing standing because there was no room to sit.
One of the worst concentration Camps was located near Oswiecim in Poland and was called Auschwitz-Birkenau. There is museum in this place now where thousands of people come to see it.

When prisoners arrived, there was selection , where those who were unable to work- kids, older people, weak women, were going straight to Gas chambers. They of course didn’t realize they are going to die. They have been told they are going to take a shower.
Then working in very cold weather, without much to eat, treated very badly, beaten, killed. They have got a number tattooed on their arms, shaved bold. They have been working till death.
There were few people, who were able to escape from there.Only few, but still a big success.
Many children were accepted by UK, who tried to help Jewish People.
There were many Polish people who were hiding Jews, from good heart but as well for money sometimes. People who were hiding Jews were killed. It was especially dangerous, that when a Pole found out that someone is Jewish they were reporting it.
Because Nazis sometimes couldn’t recognize if someone was Polish or not. That’s why many of them changed names and were pretending they were Polish.
This book it’s an enormously painful history everyone should be aware of.
How people were killing other people in a name of race. What fucking race?
That’s a book which holds your breath, gives shivers and tears. And it’s told by survivors not historian. There is historical information though, to understand it better.
